Michael Stewart is innovating a powerful and effective method of practicing yoga, Shanta Vira. The Sanskrit word Shanta means ‘serenity’, ‘pacified’ or ‘calm’. Vira means hero, brave, or warrior.
In the Master Class Series, Michael’s third offering is Shanta Vira Yoga. From 3:00-6:00pm February 22 at Yoga en Akumal we will explore a variety of yoga practices including: Tantric Hatha (pranayama, mudras, mantras, all woven together through a precise and powerful asana sequence), Pushing Hands, Walk of Faith and Quiet Time.
